Assistance Activities

Since November 2002, I have been in charge of the “Lymphatic Surgery and Microsurgery” Section of Surgery- Clinical Surgery– of S. Martino University Hospital, originally with in-patient beds on the 3rd floor (U41D3) and, then, since March 2005, on the 1st floor (U49D2).

Since 27/04/1988, I have coordinated the new healthcare facility carrying the same name (and covered by the agreement between Regione Liguria and the University), together with the official recognition of “Microsurgery Centre” (which belongs to the Emergency Surgery Division). Since 1/07/1999, I have been appointed by S. Martino University Hospital to manage the functional model (B3), called “Microsurgery and Lymphology”, since 1/04/2001 defined as a “high specialty professional appointment” (C1).

Since 12/02/1981, I have been in charge of the “Centre for the Prevention, Study, and Treatment of Lymphatic Diseases”.
Since 1977, I have been Assistant then Aiuto and, later, Associated Professor, at the Clinical Surgery Institute R and, more recently, at DISCAT (Emergency Surgery). My appointment, obviously, also included Emergency Room work at the Surgical Emergency Room at S. Martino Hospital.
